Before the black market was released I was on a few people to hear this song, I had my jaw on the desk of the computer I was using at the time because I didn't know he could sing like that

Konrad Kędzierski Some singers sound better live. For example anthony green(Circa Survive), on a good day, sounds better live then in the recordings.

No. The Killing Tree isn't performing the song. It's being performed by Tim McIlrath and while he was a member of The Killing Tree while they were active he isn't actually The Killing Tree.

Rise against is one of those bands that doesnt want fame, they have even saidit themselves in interviews that their favorite kind of shows are the ones at small local venues where they actually get to interact with the people there.
One word: amazing.
Thing is, they never broke up and actually they never announced hiatus. They just don't do anything anymore.

Besides it is really cool to get to watch the band members grow through their music. We should be thankful that we get to experience their lives and changes with them through it.

It's amazing how much a person you've never met could impact your life in such profoundly strong ways.
Well, we have to understand the kind of toll the early songs of RA take on Tim's voice. I love the early stuff too, but it's important to remember that we already have those. Not only do we have them, but they're the finest examples of that style in existence. I'm not saying I wouldn't love a new Unravelling, but I'm fine with their transition. It's probably for the best they don't go backwards.
He doesn't need it. He's not being haggled by paparazzi, he's free from tabloid drama, but is still able to affect millions of people in such positive ways. He's the perfect kind of famous.

What I would give to have a voice like that.
There are not many bands like The Killing Tree, Rise Against, Strike Anywhere, Hot Water Music, Alkaline Trio or Rancid that can not just make you enjoy music, but change your life for ever. This makes me remind myself that, the road to a better way once started out as a lonley brick. And then it started growing.
They admitted they miss the harder parts of Rise against lately so it is pretty much possible they will go back to the older style for the next album.
What I hear is theyre taking a more softer approach to their next record :/ which i'm actually looking very forward to...don't get me wrong I still absolutely LOVE the stuff they do now.
